RBL St James’s Branch Members can you help us?

If you are reading this article, there is a good chance that you’re one of the thousands of members we represent. So, first of all, thank you for your continued support and for taking the time to keep updated on Branch activities.

St James’s Branch is now well into its fourth decade of operations and continues to evolve in line with its ambitions for the future. As you know, part of that evolution is our desire to increase the size of the management team. This will ensure that we have the personnel to support us in planning for succession in all the committee roles, and have the influx of new ideas that are so important to any ambitious organisation. You will know from previous posts, that there is an open invitation for you to make contact with us and discuss joining the team.

At the moment we would like your support in three particular ways. The Branch is in the process of looking for candidates to perform the role of Hon. President of RBL St James’s. As the Royal British Legion’s largest branch we have a unique position within the organisation and the National Branches District. We are looking for someone who has a public profile that is suitable and appropriate for the role; increasing the public’s awareness of the Branch, its unique place in the RBL, and the opportunities to play a part in taking RBL St James’s Branch to an even brighter future.

We also would be very pleased to hear from you if you have the requisite experience to become Hon.Treasurer for the Branch. If you feel you have the integrity, experience, and knowledge please contact us. Furthermore, if you would like to nominate someone for the role, please contact us.
